This one started with my dad. When he lost my mom, what brought him back to the world was other people — not once, but over and over. Nearly every night for more than twenty years, he went to the same coffee shop and sat at the same table with the same familiar faces. That's what carried him through: knowing that whatever kind of day he'd had, whatever he was carrying, someone would be there. Someone to talk to if he felt like talking — or to say nothing at all and just share a few laughs. That steady, ordinary sense of belonging is what we're building here. That coffee shop, online.
We're not going to pretend we can fix everything. But we can tell you this is a place where we're genuinely glad you showed up. Be here as much or as little as you like — five minutes or a whole evening. Jump in and talk, or just pull up a seat and take it in.
